i stumbled across some pictures from girls camp i thought were really cute.

so i got home from girls camp on saturday. 

it was an interesting experience. 

to be honest i wanted to come home the whole time... but, it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be so i guess that's a plus.

Today Carla and I got to teach the Sunbeams.
There were only 3 of them and they were the CUTEST things ever.
They loved the apples and bananas and had a lot of stories to tell.
I love Sunbeams.

YW in Excellence.

Last Sunday was the annual Young Women in Excellence. 

It went alright, never a favorite thing of mine. 

& that's about all I have to say about this event.

Young Women 4th Annual 5K.

Yesterday was the 4th annual 5K. Last year I couldn't run because I was hobbling around on crutches. (crazy to think it's been over a year since I broke my leg.) This year I was in full swing ready to run. I don't know what my time was exactly, but I know for a fact that I improved my time since last time I ran the race or even the first year. It was soo much fun. I love the Sharon 3rd Ward.

Saturday as the Young Women we were going to go boating. We were all sooo excited. Well the weather Friday sucked hard core so they cancelled it, Saturday morning...It's sunny and warm all day. Dang it. Oh well. It was still a fun day. We all went to Magleby's Fresh for breakfast. They have the greatest syrup EVER! It was a really fun time. I love our young women. Sadly my favorite leader of all time got released yesterday. Sister O'barr is gone and it is the worst thing EVER! She's been in YW with me since I was 12. She was such a good leader and I love her soo much! Thanks for everything Sister "Bo-Barr!!"

GIRLS CAMP!

his past week I have been at girls camp & that's why I haven't been able to blog. I had a blast this year! Here are a few of the highlights.

1. My ward won the Sharon Stake cook off. GO US!
2. I was in the "Miss Shalom Pageant". I lost. ha
3. I went on the 4th year over night backpacking hike. It was very hard. I had a good time really.
4. Water front was really fun. It felt good to get wet.
5. I took a freezing cold shower. It was the best decision EVER!
6. The YCL's were super duper funny this year. Their skits always made me laugh.
7. Our camp theme was camp LUNA. Luna in Greek means moon. Luna also meant as out theme... Living United Never Alone.

I had a fabulous time at camp this year. I can't believe I only have 2 years left. Next year I'll be a YCL! yay!! No more slow bus for me! :)

CAMP MIA SHALOM!

Tomorrow at 6:30 AM I'm heading off the camp Mia Shalom with my amazing ward and awesome STAKE. I'm soo excited to head up the mountain & hang out with some of the girls I love more than anything!

I look forward to girls camp every year! It's crazy to think that I only have 2 or 3 years left of girls camp! Time as sure flown! I remember my first year at camp Shalom. It snowed and snowed and snowed! We all couldn't believe it! It was the funnest year of girls camp thus far.

My second year of girls camp wasn't at Shalom. It was at a really cool place called Reid Ranch. It was just our ward. There was hot showers, a swimming pool, and yummy yummy food that could be eaten at any time of the day. It would have to say it almost toped year one...It comes in a close second. My first two years of girls camp are probably going to always be the best out of all 6.

Last year I was a good ol' third year. This is the year my best friend Carla came into our ward. We went to Shalom. It was a really fun year!

Now lets see what year 4 has to bring!! :)

Space Center!!

Wednesday night for mutual we went to The Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center. It was sooo much fun! My job was "Remote Communications."

Remote Communications:
Responsible for all civilian communications that come and go through the Station.
We all had time of our lives & we can't wait to go back again!

today i went with the young men and young women to watch a movie at the scera shell! it was awesome!! :)

youth conference. 2010 "i am..."

youth conference this year was sooo much fun! it was fun to not just have the normal people from the ward (not that i don't love you) but to have the whole stake there. i had a lot of fun hanging out and partying with my friends.

today i'm heading up to...

for youth conference. i'm really excited. there are a lot of fun people in my ward and stake. carla, tyler, ben, taylor c, taylor m, peter, stephanie and soo many more! this should be one fun weekend! see you all tomorrow!!

nothing much.

yesterday i didn't do much. i went to dance and got killed by alan's awesome choreography! then i went to lunch with my mom. after that i went to the mall with emma, sesslja, and megan!

after the mall i went to young women with carla. i was with her for the rest of the night. we went on a walk over to arsen's and alex's for a little as well. arsen is going to california today so we had to stop by and say hello! (and goodbye)

so i didn't do much yesterday but it was fun and adventurous!

YW in excellence

Tonight was YW in Excellence. It was really fun to set up the displays, eat some yummy salsa, and be in the fireside. Every year the YW and leaders in my ward put on a fireside. This years theme was "A time such as this".
