stupid blackperry pearl

My phone is so dumb! Here is the deal... At random times it will delete my text messsages read or unread, e-mails (sometimes), and my call logs. It does this about 2 or 3 times a day! Can you say annoying. It also deletes the things just said when I send a picture, ringtone, or anything like that. The only way to stop it from deleting everything is by taking out the battery and restarting it. Pain in the butt! It also freezes all the time, really all the time. I will want to go to my pictures and it will freeze for like 5-7 minutes and then after that the pictures will show but that is super dumb! Does anyone know what to do? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!
