An Official Goodbye

In September of 2007 a little thirteen year old girl started a blog.
She published her stories from that year until the year 2012.
When this girl was about to graduate high school she decided it was time for a fresh start.
High School was ending and it was time to move on.
In May of 2013 she created her new space that she calls her's and officially retired this blog.

That girl is me, Erika Ann Mouritsen.

When I started blogging in 2007 I had no idea that it would become such a huge part of my life.
This blog meant and still does mean a whole lot to me.
On this blog there are memories that I hold close to my heart.
On this blog there are thoughts from my head that I can reread over and over again.

I never said my official goodbye to this blog so today, November 8, 2013, I decided that it was necessary to do so.

Goodbye to my first blog.
Goodbye to the years 2007-2012.
I'll be back often searching through old posts and reading old memories.

SLACKER!

i'm sorry i'm the biggest slacker when it comes to blogger.. i mean i keep up with every other social network but i am laggin' on this one. 

a lot has happened over the past month or so.

i went to st. george for the sunshine baseball tourny with liz, bain, and paige.

& i went to spring fling with Mosiah and all of ODC.

the HK was honestly one of the best experiences of my entire being. 

i'll tell you all about it and then i'll add a picture over load at the bottom.

we left late thursday january 19, 2012 and arrived in Hong Kong early morning saturday 21, 2012
{15 hour flight from LAX + Hong Kong being 15 hours ahead of SLC = friday january 20, 2012 never exsisted in my life}
right after we landed we headed straight to rehearsal.
the next few days consisted of rehearsals, a tour of hong kong, shopping (stanley and lady's markets). bus rides, lunches, shows, dancing in the Chinese New Year Parade and more.
we got home thursday January 26, 2012 after a long flight home sitting next to kelso and peiter.
warrior and 127 hours are the only movies i watched on the flights.
i should have had a marathon.
time definitely didn't stop then. we went straight into rehearsals for our Move show which was 2 weekends ago and went surprisingly amazing.
the jet lag  kicked in sunday morning after the show when i didn't go to bed until 6 am and slept till 5:30 pm.
needless to say, the next couple of days were rather...rough.
